No MCR for best live band...proper shocked!
Seen all the bands in the nominees apart from Muse...who i know are awesome live anyway...but MCR were by far the best live band i've ever seen!
AVA are good live, but they barely even play in this country so how the hell are they up there...have they even played England since after the last K! Awards? Probably once for one of them typical one off London gigs all bands do!

I've never seen 'em live, but I'd like to see them win some awards just 'cause I'd like to thank Tom and co for being the only band that make me feel like they do. And 'cause the new album is sounding AWESOME so far.

Even so, where the fuck are Megadeth in here? I'm sick of Kerrang! readers total inability to recognise bands that aren't in the "Emo" scene. Honestly, a couple of years ago you'd have thought the only bands in the world were My Chemical Romance and Green Day...

Also, I'm a HUGE Fall Out Boy fan, but Infinity On High does NOT belong in the Best Album category. It's a tad disappointing, to be honest.

First of, i'm 19, your all 14. you don't have a clue about anything except my chemical romance and the modern greenday (old greenday were amazing!). you like bands that scream and wear tight pants and you wouldn't know what a decent band was if i slapped you in the face with it. on that note..

1. Best British Newcomer = LostAlone = They are a proper rock band that make amazing music and are amazing live. None of this scene shit and screaming like the rest! They will be huge, and will be around for a long time.

2. Best International Newcomer = 30 Seconds To Mars = Just because i don't like any of the other bands and all of their music video's are epic!

3. Best Live Band = Enter Shikari = I cannot stand the screaming, but if you haven't seen them live your an idiot. Best thing you will ever witness!

4. Best Single = Funeral For A Friend - Into Oblivion = One of the best bands in the world, and this song is fantastic. Not the best funeral for a friend song ever, but it's better than the rest of the choices.

5. Best Album = Biffy Clyro - Puzzles = Again, they aren't scene like rest of the choices you have all left us with (except machine head of course) and lets face it, they deserve it, they have been trying so hard for so long it's about time they we're recognised.

6. Best Video = Paramore - Misery Business = Because Hayley Williams Is FIT!

7. Best British Band = Funeral For A Friend = If you vote anyone else your a fucking dipshit!

8. Best International Band = Machine Head = What horrible fucking choices all you 14 year olds left us with. Machine head are obviously the only band that deserve it!

They are not a good band anymore, And They are not good live (they were, when they were all about death and killing. but now all they care about is hugging and high 5's and their live show is pathetic). Why are MCR so overated. Theres so much more to music than emo vocals. The only band who deserve to win is machinehead for their awesome 'The Blackening' which focuses more on instrumentation and less on pussy lyrics. I do like enter shakari and ffaf before their new album but no one else has come close to accamplishing what machinehead have done.

30 Seconds to Mars - "The Kill" is the best video ever. Why is "The Kill" not included? They are also the best live band, as no one can sing live as well as Jared Leto does! They deserve all awards for their talent, beauty and dedication.

okay i have to say this i respect everyone elses point of view and everything and i agree that kerrang is not as rock as they used to be but would you please lighten up on my chemical romance!!!i have been a fan from the beginning and yes they did go more mainstream and scene but they still rock more than any other band!!!they are not the best band ever but they are one of the best bands around at the moment!they deserve every nomination they got and should have got best live band too!i love 30 seconds to mars too but i love my chemical romance even more and think they should win!

I am 14, and I find that rather insulting. Just because I am this age does not mean I am and my chemical romance-and-new-green day-loving idiot. I, personally, think that Green Day were SO much better before American Idiot. I think most of the choices up there are horrible too. I listen to Nirvana, Iron Maiden and Metallica.
So yeah obviously I only listen to "bands that scream and wear tight pants".

Don't use your age as a way of saying you're beter than other people. Don't make a judgement on someone just based on thier age. Think before you say something like that, because you're not right, and you're just offending people.

I think people who are complaining that MCR aren't up for Best Live Band are just really stupid. They are nominated for FOUR OTHER AWARDS. Isn't that enough?
Besides, with all the teenies who are in love with Gerard fucking Way and Frank fucking Iero, they are most likely going to win most, if not all, of the awards thy are up for.
Don't get me wrong, MCR are a good band, I have nothing against them, but people just vote for them for all of the wrong reasons.
I also think it's stupid for people to be having arguments on here about whether they are the "best band ever" or whatever and not mention the music... like "MCR should win! Gerard is the most sexy guy ever! Yay for My Chemical Romance!!"

i just started to listen to this band because of the music, i too don't understand why everybody are just listening to them because they are so sexy or any of that bullshit, people should just listen to them because the are good musicians and great song writers.
