What everyone is forgetting is it is the best live band award, it's how entertaining they are live, Enter Shikari have amazing stage presence and get the crowd involved. As Muse are all playing instruments, the sound will be good but they can't get the crowd going aswell.
And Lost Prophets are not as good as both as they don't have many punchy sing-along songs.
So please everyone stop abusing the bands.

I have seen Muse and Enter Shikari in live. I like Enter Shikari's music but I have to say that they don't really care about the public ... Saying two or three words ... And technically they are beginners.
Muse talk a lot to the public and there is so much emotion when Matt sings and when they three play music ... Muse in live makes me cry everytime. In great places like in Wembley Stadium or even in smaller events, like festivals, they rule. Their show is amazing, in every way. Emotionnally, technically, visually, ... whatever you can say, Muse do it <3
Concerning Lostprophets, they're better than ES in live but not as powerful as Muse

I have seen all of these bands live and I must say, the winner by far should have been muse. Nobody can even touch them on a live performance. Everybody who has seen Muse live will agree with me on this one. All of the bands there have a special live performance, but come on, be serious here guys

I bought Shikari's album about 2 months ago and listened to it for an couple hours, havent touched it since... bought Black holes when it was released and listened to it for a solid week, plus saw Muse at both Meadowbank and the Secc... nuff said.
all Enter Shikari fans were listening to shit like nelly and justin timberland a year ago and now think they know all about rock music. thier all move on next year to the "next Enter Shikari" snd this years winners will last shorter then the darkness

Having seen both these acts live. Muse are light years ahead, seriously.
What more could they have done in the last year to win it?
Headline Reading, sell out Wembley Stadium and countless other places in the world with at times quite innovative music.
All ES have produced are things that have been done before, they do cause mayhem at thier gigs but then any band worthy of mention do.
Thats not enough to be called a great live act and this award proves people like cheap thrills more than substance which is quite sad.
MUSE are the best live band hands down, the others nominated are all very similar but MUSE are a step above.
Once you have seen MUSE live everything elts is just a disappointment. No one can live up to MUSE live.

Shikari deserved this for sure. Though the others are great live Shikari are doing something with their live shows now that no other band are capable of. Ive seen all these bands live and no one gets a response from their audience like Shikari. They may not everyones cup of tea but it's undeniable when you see their fans going crazy. Love em or hate em, show them respect.

Good response Lauraaa. Feisty. But I'm gonna have to pick apart of trample on your response. Think how much money Muse used to put on their gigs, especially wembley, with all the lights, projections and stage show. Enter have nothing on that scale. A couple of laser lights, which, though they're cool, arent anything in comparison. When they play on far smaller stages they get their crowd going from just them on stage. Did you see them at Earls Court? They ruled that day. No other band compared. See them on just a foot high stage and see what they can do. Put any of the other bands on one and they couldn't beat it. x
