WOO! Judas Priest are legends.
I fucking love them. Ahhh.. good old classic metall.
Rock the fuck on.
Enter Shikari will win this next year
im joking just like how Enter Shikari won this years best live act
HALL OF FAME!!!
JUDAS PRIEST has been around for over 30 years, so I must guess they are icons, legens, and overall pioneers of heavy metal... They really deserve it, and as a JP fan myself I am glad that my fav band won the award... Many of you out there maybe have heard about JP but have never listened to... Anyway I just wonder if any of these new bands namely MCR, Fall out boy, etc, will ever become "legends" lets say in 30 years ahead...???
First album I heard by Priest was Stained Class back in 1978. After so many concerts and all their cd's and DVD's I will forever be a Judas Priest fan!!!!
Congrats on a well deserved award..
The anticipation of the next live Priest show is killing me. They are at their best with 20,000 metal maniacs in front of them. They've carried the metal flag for over 35 years now and have paved the way to insure that metal will live on forever. I thank them for keeping me feeling 18 years old for life.
IT'S ABOUT FUCKING TIME! WHERE WOULD ALL THESE OTHER BANDS BE WITHOUT THESE BOYS. HALFORD CAN STILL OUT SING JUST ABOUT ANYONE AND TIPTON AND DOWNING ARE STILL THE GREATEST HEAVY METAL GUITAR DUO IN HISTORY. NO ONE EVEN COMES CLOSE!
They are worth it, worked hard all their life. And they're metal gods, best heavy metal band in the earth.
Those emo bands will be forgotten one day, and they wont.
I thought my chemical romance should of won that title they totally deserve it I dont understand why the hell they won they rubbish

It's great that a band that put the 'metal' into heavy metal has been put into the Kerrang! Hall of Fame. Judas Priest were amazing back in the '70s!! Have a listen to 1978's 'Killing Machine' or the song 'Dissident Aggressor' (which Slayer covered) from '77s album 'Sin after Sin' - heavy stuff for back then! And they still rock today!
