After Fightstar donned their instruments for a 30-minute set of passionate, new school metal - with the paparazzi out in full effect to catch a glimpse of Charlie Simpson rocking out - Virgin's basement became awash with neon lights and Day-Glo clothing. This could herald none other than the arrival of the Shikari lads onstage - and with resounding album-opener 'Shiiiiitt!!!!', the place erupted. More>

Kerrang! editor Paul Brannigan and Fightstar frontman Charlie Simpson have just read out the nominations for this year’s Kerrang! Awards. All eyes turned to the stage as the pair announced the shortlist for nominees. As each of the eight awards were read out, cheers filled the room, as it soon became clear that tonight's headliners Enter Shikari had already done astoundingly in the online voting, nominated for a whopping four awards.
